B2B take-back concept for the return of old appliances
Manufacturers, distributors and importers who place electrical and electronic equipment on the market in Germany are obliged to register with the Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte Register (ear Stiftung). MEBIKON GmbH, based in Nuremberg, is registered under WEEE-Reg-No.: 2754254.
Disposal of old B2B devices
Electrical and electronic appliances that have become waste are referred to as old appliances. If the old appliances have been used in households other than private households, they may not be disposed of via municipal collection and return points.
Meaning of the "crossed-out dustbin" symbol
The crossed-out wheeled garbage can symbol indicates that this electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its service life, but must be collected separately by the end user.
Options for returning old appliances
According to the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (§7a ElektroG), every manufacturer is obliged to provide a reasonable opportunity for the return of old appliances.
This can be done either by your own delivery or, on request, by free collection. On collection, we ask you to pack the appliance(s) securely for transportation and make them available for collection.
If this is not possible, please contact us at:

The old appliances are technically checked by us and repaired if necessary. Irreparable old appliances are scrapped (disposed of) by a certified waste disposal company.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries
Batteries/rechargeable batteries that are not permanently integrated into the electrical appliance must be removed and disposed of separately before disposal.
Data protection notice
The deletion of personal data on old devices must be carried out by the end user themselves, where applicable, before disposal.
With this take-back concept, MEBIKON GmbH is fulfilling its obligations as a manufacturer in accordance with Section 19 (1) of the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).
